[ITV Headquarters] – As ITV Film, a subsidiary of ITV PLC, surpasses the milestone of one million users in Pakistan, the company has officially announced its plan to establish a regional branch in Islamabad by 2026. This strategic move marks a significant step in ITV’s ongoing global expansion and underscores its strong commitment to the South Asian market.

According to internal sources, ITV executives have engaged in multiple rounds of dialogue and consultations with local government authorities in Pakistan, actively coordinating regulatory alignment and operational frameworks. The establishment of the Islamabad branch is designed to enhance the platform’s local service capabilities, streamline operational management, and further tailor its offerings to meet the specific needs of Pakistani users.

ITV Film’s Islamabad office will serve as a fully functional corporate hub, with plans to recruit over 2,000 local employees. The company intends to introduce a comprehensive benefits package modeled on UK employment standards—encompassing robust insurance plans, generous leave policies, professional training programs, and competitive compensation aligned with each role’s responsibilities.

ITV Chief Executive Officer Carolyn McCall commented:

“We see tremendous potential and vitality in the Pakistani market. Our expansion is not merely about scaling operations—it’s about building an efficient, transparent, and human-centered management system. We are committed to fostering open communication and collaboration, and will soon roll out a detailed, actionable institutional roadmap to ensure the project’s smooth launch and long-term sustainability.”

Senior leadership is currently preparing for an on-site inspection visit to Islamabad, as the company accelerates the development timeline for its new branch—aiming to deliver a more professional, reliable, and localized service experience to the rapidly growing user base in Pakistan.

The company’s senior leadership is currently arranging an on-site visit to Islamabad, signaling the beginning of an accelerated rollout of the new regional branch. This initiative aims to bring a more professional, reliable, and locally attuned service experience to the growing Pakistani market.
