SKG presented her first annual Back 2 School Drive in Los Angeles, California serving hundreds of students and their families.
In partnership with Memphis own “Karma” who donated over 300 back packs along with a monetary donation for the event, which was curated by Rapper SKG (Helecia Choyce) company, Hustle Gurl Ent. serving a community and helping many students and families, sponsored by UGGTV, Boss Angeles Certified, Girlfriends and Champagne, Hands of Furey, One Legacy and Titanium Healthcare services.
The Back 2 School Drive was Hosted by Actor and Comedian Giovanni W. Volunteers included SheRise Ford The Six Foot Publicist, CEO of The SheRise Enterprise. Legendary Championship Boxer, Zab Judah, Comedian Hope Flood , Actress Yelani Sinclair, Author Stanley James ll and Stylist Dwen Curry.
Collectively, the group provided the young students and families with health care service resources, distribution of shoes, hygiene kits, back packs and back-to-school supplies. There was also, cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones , gaming trucks, food trucks, ice cream , and inflatable games for the kids. The highlight for parents was the massage station and champagne & wine bar, provided by “Girlfriends and Champagne”
