Congress boss Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday delegated Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury as the new leader of the West Bengal Congress, the gathering said.
Mr Chowdhury is likewise the pioneer of Congress in the Lok Sabha. His arrangement was required after the end of previous West Bengal Congress Committee boss Somen Mitra.
