Even as the Janata Dal United (JDU) leader Nitish Kumar took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for a record fourth time on Monday afternoon, the main opposition party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) boycotted the oath taking ceremony.
Saying that Nitish Kumar becoming Chief Minister is against the mandate, the RJD said that the people of the state are angry with NDA.
“The mandate for change is against the NDA. The people’s mandate (for change) has been changed into the mandate for rule. Ask unemployed youths, farmers, teachers how they feel. People are angry with the NDA for the fraud that they committed. We represent people and we stand by them,” said the RJD.
