A video from Chhattisgarh’s Kawardha region has surfaced online where supposedly a Muslim crowd can be seen evacuating a saffron hued banner and tearing it, prompting conflicts and stone-pelting.

It is being said that both the gatherings needed to introduce their strict banner at the Chowk which prompted a conflict. The episode occurred on Maa Karma Chowk who is respected for dealing with Hindu God Lord Krishna.

A Hindu banner is constantly lifted on the Chowk, in any case, the Muslim crowd introduced their strict banner also. In the video, one individual was seen climbing the shaft, removing the Hindu banner, tearing and offending it.

According to authorities, the police had led a “Shanti Samiti” meeting with individuals on Sunday requesting that they eliminate strict banners from the Chowk considering forthcoming celebrations and to keep up with harmony and agreement. “The gatherings even consented to something very similar, in any case, some young from the two sides arrived at the site later and caused a commotion,” said the cop further.

Section 144 enforced

Section 144 of CrPc (Criminal Code Procedure) was forced later to manage the circumstance. No captures have been made at this point.

According to a nearby columnist, the verbal battle before long turned vicious followed by stone-pelting. Ajay Thakur, Shoyab Adri, and Durgesh Devangan from the two gatherings have supported wounds.
