Sefondre is a niche and unique concept in the adult intimate industry that combines luxury with empowerment, toying with themes of seduction and domination. Since launching in 2020 in London, Sefondre’s offering has expanded to include an evolving line of luxury sex toys, vegan sex toys, and luxury bondage play products. Sefondre is exclusively available online and ships to over 30 countries worldwide. Now it is currently developing its range of sexy lingerie which will be released later in 2021. The collection is inspired by the Qipao, a beautiful dress originating in Manchu and popularised by the elite in Shanghai in the 30’s.
Founded in 2020 and launched in January 2021, Sefondre is a direct-to-consumer online adult intimate brand that is modernising the sex toy industry. We’re reshaping the complex offering that many competitors offer by carefully curating collections with out team of luxury sex toy experts, and extensive team of customers-turned-product-testers.
The name Sefondre comes from the french word “fondre”. “Se Fondre” can be translated to ‘get lost in’ or ‘melt into’. This is how we want all of our customers to feel as we ameliorate the luxury sex toy industry and normalise amazing sexual experiences.
Sefondre was born out of our own frustrations shopping for intimate products. Coming from a background in business school and luxury fashion, we have a huge appreciation for quality, design and the customer experience, which we seek in all of our own personal purchases.
We have always been disappointed by what was on offer in the sex toy market, something that is so vital for so many healthy relationships to thrive. Choice is limited to scrolling through a website full of 100’s of categories of low quality toys – when all we wanted was a simple and smooth experience choosing some from some of the most luxurious sex toys on the market. I also wanted it delivered to me in the way I receive most of my products: online with a process that is not complicated and puts me off purchasing.
